Task Details: Based on the information provided, and using current theories and models in accounting, students need to analyse how they apply to the given situation. Specific research supported recommendations need to be provided. Research requirements – Students need to support their analysis with support from the text and suitable, reliable, current and academically acceptable sources Presentation: 1500 - 2000 word short report format – Word .doc or .docx, Include title page, executive summary, table of contents, appropriate headings and sub headings, recommendations / findings / conclusions, in-text referencing and reference list (Harvard – Anglia style) and attachments if relevant. Identify and explain the five (5) types of threats to the fundamental principles of the Code of Ethics. 4. Consider the issues and problems involved in applying rule based and principle based codes of Ethics. Comment on how effectively the Code of Ethics of the Professional Accounting Bodies in Australia is being applied. After completing the four questions above, answer the first four questions following the case study on page 61 of textbook, Accounting 8th edition, 2011, by Hogget, J, Edwards, L, Medlin, J and Tilling M, (from Wiley & Sons).
