How can tablets or computers be used as more than a babysitter tools for young children?



Prepare a PowerPoint presentation ( 5 content slides with narration) plus a participant handout that addresses the audience:

Prepare an Audio-visual presentation for a parent meeting. The topic of discussion is: How can tablets or computers be used as more than a babysitter tools for young children?

1.      Prepare 5 slides with  narration (5 minutes in total) these must include any in-text citation in smaller/less obvious front on the slide and on the hand out document.
<for the narration part- just provide the script(speech), I will do the voice over  here>
2.      Present the content for parent meeting: on how can tablets/computers be used as more than a babysitter tools for young children.
3.      provide a research basis for the inclusion of this topic in effective early childhood education;
4.      provide material on the content and design to enhance the presentation;
5.       Try to involve the audience in the presentation (you will need to think creatively here!);
6.      use appropriate verbal skills to present your topic;
7.      Prepare a handout (2 pages) demonstrating visual communication skill that could be given out at your presentation – identifying the key points raised in your presentation with an appropriate reference list of at LEAST 5 quality references.
8.      Provide reference list for all materials used. On the slide and the handout. They must put on separate pages.  It must be APA 6th format.  Please try to avoid .coms  or news if possible & definitely NO wikipaedia!
9.      A transcript of your oral presentation should be included in the handout document and placed after the reference list.
10.   Can be as creative as you wish in terms of handouts formatting, use text, image, charts, diagram etc to help convey the information to the audience.
